I am now going to look at September and how successful the month was in regard to job search. I applied for 60 jobs using 16 different methods to find the jobs. This is the breakdown of the top 3 methods:
Job Centre: 28 jobs found and 2 job interviews. No jobs as of yet.
Twitter: 9 jobs found and 1 interview offered which had to be turned down. I am applying for London based jobs again and the job was for only £12,000 per year. I can’t live in London on that salary.
Vox Pop: 5 Jobs found. No interviews.
Every other method resulted in one or 2 jobs found but no interviews. As I applied for 60 jobs I should have got to the interview stage 6 times if the 10% conversion rate was still the same.
